Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced and polished Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to an organization making a meaningful impact.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr – $38/hr
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to executive leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Arrange domestic and international travel and prepare detailed itineraries.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and executive correspondence.
- Track action items and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings and events.
- Process expense reports and maintain organized records.
- Serve as a liaison between executives, staff, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
- Assist with special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leadership.
- Strong calendar management and travel coordination experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Prior experience supporting executives within a nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, or mission-driven organization.
- Experience interacting with board members and external stakeholders.
- Event coordination and project management experience.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
