Our client is a leading New York City real estate developer seeking five Administrative Assistants to support a large-scale residential lease-up project. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to gain experience in real estate, property management, leasing, or compliance while working on one of New York City’s most exciting new developments.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $25/hr (DOE)
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistants will provide administrative and operational support throughout the lease-up process. Responsibilities include processing documentation, assisting prospective residents, maintaining accurate records, and supporting leasing and compliance teams. Candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers while providing exceptional customer service.
Initially, employees will split time between the Midtown Manhattan office and the project site in Willets Point, Queens, before transitioning to the Queens location full-time.
One opening requires fluency in both Mandarin and English.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistants:
- Provide administrative support to Leasing, Compliance, and Property Management teams.
- Process applications, documentation, and resident files with accuracy.
- Review information for completeness and maintain organized records.
- Perform data entry and update internal databases and tracking systems.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and communicating with applicants.
- Answer questions from prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service.
- Show apartment units to prospective residents as needed.
- Support clerical projects, reporting, and document management.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistants:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers and administrative documentation.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working between Midtown Manhattan and Willets Point, Queens during the initial project phase.
- Flexibility to work an occasional Saturday.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistants:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or another analytical discipline.
- Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
- Prior administrative, leasing, customer service, or office experience preferred.
- One position requires fluency in Mandarin and English.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
