Our client is a well-established affordable housing management company dedicated to providing quality housing and exceptional resident services. They are seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager (LIHTC) to support the daily operations of an LIHTC community.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr – $21/hr
Position Overview:
The Assistant Property Manager (LIHTC) will support the Property Manager with leasing, resident relations, compliance, and daily property operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career within affordable housing property management.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager (LIHTC):
- Manage leasing activities, applications, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals.
- Assist with LIHTC compliance and resident file maintenance.
- Support rent collections, delinquency tracking, and resident communications.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on work orders.
- Maintain occupancy goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with reporting and administrative functions as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager (LIHTC):
- 2+ years of property management or leasing experience.
- LIHTC certification is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with property management software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager (LIHTC):
- Assistant Property Manager experience.
- Yardi, RealPage, or similar software experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
