Our client, a leader in their industry is looking to add a temporary HR Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $22/hr
Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join a dynamic HR support team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and navigating HR and payroll-related inquiries in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities of an HR Assistant:
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from employees and HR partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service while resolving or routing inquiries.
- Create, document, and manage cases using ServiceNow.
- Maintain accurate employee records and document data changes.
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related questions.
- Understand payroll and timekeeping concepts to troubleshoot employee concerns.
- Partner closely with the Payroll team to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
- Direct employees to the appropriate resources when necessary.
- Process tuition reimbursement requests.
- Assist with employment verification requests.
- Answer policy and compliance-related questions.
Required Experience/Skills for the HR Assistant:
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service, contact center, or employee support experience.
- Prior experience in a call center or HR contact center handling inbound employee inquiries.
- Experience with case management software, preferably ServiceNow.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Experience supporting payroll inquiries and understanding payroll/timekeeping processes (payroll processing experience is not required).
- Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Spanish bilingual skills are highly preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
