Client Overview:

A nonprofit organization in the arts space in the New York City Area. They are focused on community events and engagement involving youth and college-aged individuals seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23/hr – $26/hr

Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of both in-person and virtual touchpoints that bring the brand to life. This includes large-scale expos, strategic partnerships, and high-impact activations. The role suits a detail-oriented team player passionate about logistics, brand storytelling, and live event strategy.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator:

  • Coordinate creative assets and signage, ensuring brand consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Manage timelines, calendars, and production workflows to ensure flawless execution.
  • Assist with scripts and storytelling efforts to enhance participant experience.
  • Track and report event performance and audience engagement insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead coordination and setup of event registration systems and pages.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure deliverables align with brand guidelines and strategic goals.

Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Coordinator:

  • Strong organizational and logistical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience with event coordination and marketing support.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with event registration platforms and digital asset coordination.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Coordinator:

  • Background in community event marketing.
  • Experience with virtual event platforms and activations.
  • Knowledge of brand storytelling techniques.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
