Client Overview:

Our client is an established manufacturing company supporting a high-volume production environment. The organization is focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining reliable plant operations. They are currently looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team.  

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$92,366 – $120,000 Annually (Depending on experience)  

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance operations in a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, reducing equipment downtime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues and plant downtime.
  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and work prioritization.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and leadership teams to support production goals.
  • Maintain maintenance records and equipment data.
  • Coordinate parts, tools, and vendor support for maintenance activities.
  • Support employee training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage employee timekeeping and overtime tracking.

Required Experience/Skills for the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and CMMS systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Technical degree or engineering background.
  • Hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experience.
  • Experience supporting industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in a union environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant industrial, maintenance, or technical experience will be considered.
