Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established organization seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist to provide additional support to its customer service and sales operations teams.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $28/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist will support customer service and sales operations, with a primary focus on data cleanup, customer order entry, and order management using SAP S/4HANA. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
This individual will manage customer orders from entry through shipment, provide accurate information to customers, communicate lead times, and partner closely with sales and internal departments.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist:

• Perform data cleanup and customer order entry in SAP S/4HANA.
• Enter, process, and maintain customer orders from order placement through shipment.
• Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.
• Communicate order status and lead-time information to appropriate sales channels.
• Verify contracts and track pricing.
• Manage order scheduling and RMA processing within SAP.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist:

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, specifically with order entry.
• Experience with contract verification, price tracking, order scheduling, and RMA processing within SAP.
• 3-5 years of related customer service, order management, or sales support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist:

• Salesforce or other CRM experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new products and systems quickly.

Education Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
