Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Part-Time Client Advisor to support a contemporary Fashion Retail team at a shopping mall in Paramus, NJ. This role will focus on supporting weekend business, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, confident in styling and client engagement, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced retail environment. There may be potential for the role to become permanent based on performance, overall fit, and business needs. This role is approximately 24 hours per week, with open availability to work weekends required.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Client Advisor:

• Deliver an exceptional client experience and provide personalized service.
• Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products.
• Drive sales by showcasing products and communicating the brand’s story.
• Provide styling recommendations and help clients find versatile pieces for their wardrobes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and represent the brand professionally on the sales floor.
• Support daily store operations and maintain a polished, organized sales floor.
• Work collaboratively with the team while taking initiative to support business goals.

Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Client Advisor:

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in client engagement, styling, and relationship building.
• Sales-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine interest in fashion.
• Open availability to work weekends and flexibility to support business needs.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Client Advisor:

• Experience in contemporary fashion or luxury retail.
• Previous clienteling experience and a demonstrated ability to build customer relationships.
• Experience meeting sales goals and providing personalized styling recommendations.
