Our client distributes plumbing, HVAC, and industrial supplies to contractors, builders, and businesses. They are now looking for candidates for an Accounts Receivable/Cash Application role.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$23/hr – $25/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable/Cash Application specialist to join their team. This role focuses on applying customer payments, supporting accounts receivable functions, and assisting with administrative tasks in a relaxed, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable/Cash Application:
- Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions in SAP.
- Support accounts receivable operations and administrative duties.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper cash application.
- Assist with reporting and basic Excel-based tracking.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable/Cash Application:
- Experience with cash applications (not required specifically in SAP, but must have applied cash previously).
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional, laid-back demeanor; respectful and team-oriented.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable/Cash Application:
- Experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Local candidates or familiarity with similar environments.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexible based on relevant experience.
