Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k – $105k DOE
Position Overview:
This hybrid Audit Senior role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The Audit Senior will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities of the Audit Senior:
- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion for a diverse client base.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities to clients.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff.
- Develop strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for management and boards.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Required Experience/Skills for the Audit Senior:
- 3+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Audit Senior:
- CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA.
- Experience with a variety of industries.
- Knowledge of data analytics and related tools.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
