Our client, a growing multi-unit hospitality and entertainment organization, is looking to add a Controller to their growing team. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$115k – $130k Depending on experience 

Position Overview:

The Controller serves as a strategic financial leader supporting a multi-unit hospitality and entertainment operation. Responsibilities include financial planning, analysis, and reporting across food and beverage and venue operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability. The Controller partners closely with operational and executive leadership to provide data-driven insights and guide business decisions.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Lead financial operations for hospitality and restaurant venues, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, delivering variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
• Partner with executives and location-level leaders on financial strategy, P&L performance, labor optimization, and margin improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while coordinating audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
• Support capital planning and ROI analysis for new venue openings, renovations, and major business initiatives.

Required Experience/Skills for the Controller:

• 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables). 

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
