Our client is one of the nation’s largest food importers, bringing thousands of specialty and high-quality products from around the world. They are currently looking to add a Customer Service Representative to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will provide customer support by processing orders, resolving service issues, and performing administrative tasks in collaboration with customers, sales representatives, and the operations team.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for entering and managing customer orders while handling incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain and update customer-specific pricing and proactively communicate to resolve questions or issues.
- The Customer Service Representative will collaborate with sales representatives, brokers, and internal departments to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
- Release orders to third-party warehouses and coordinate daily communication with external partners.
- The Customer Service Representative will provide feedback to management on service concerns and perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a sales-driven environment, with strong professionalism, communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- The Customer Service Representative needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software, strong typing, data entry, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently, demonstrating urgency in supporting customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
