Client Overview:

Our client is an established company engaged in the import and distribution of goods within the U.S. and internationally. They are currently expanding their team and looking to add a Customer Service Representative.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$21/hr

Position Overview: 

The Customer Service Representative supports customers by managing order processing, resolving service issues, and completing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • The Customer Service Representative will manage and process customer orders accurately while handling incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update customer-specific pricing and proactively address questions or resolve issues.
  • The Customer Service Representative will collaborate with Sales Representatives, Brokers, and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Release orders to third-party warehouses and maintain daily communication with external partners.
  • Provide feedback to management on service-related concerns and complete additional administrative duties as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

  • The Customer Service Representative needs to have a minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong typing, data entry, and organizational skills are required.
  • The Customer Service Representative needs to have the ability to multitask, work independently, and respond with urgency.

Education Requirements:  

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
