Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to help deliver customer security within the fraud department.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr
Position Overview:
The Data Entry Clerk supports the Bank Fraud department by accurately entering and verifying sensitive data. The role includes updating customers on fraud decisions and maintaining compliance with banking standards. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk:
- Enter and verify data related to bank fraud cases.
- Update customers on decisions and outcomes.
- Maintain logs and records of activities.
- Compile, sort, and check data for accuracy.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Organize and prioritize work assignments.
- Use Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Required Experience/Skills for the Data Entry Clerk:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Experience in data entry roles.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Data Entry Clerk:
- Previous experience in a banking environment.
- Familiarity with fraud detection processes.
- Experience handling sensitive customer information.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
