Position Overview:

This Financial Admin Assistant position offers the flexibility of onsite or remote work. The Financial Admin Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our nonprofit organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Responsibilities of the Financial Admin Assistant:

  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Support the Finance team in various administrative tasks and projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Admin Assistant:

  • Experience preparing budgets and forecasts in a corporate or institutional setting.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and internal control processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
