They are seeking a Financial Aid Representative who is passionate about helping students access the financial resources needed to achieve their educational goals.

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The Financial Aid Representative will be a key member of the student services team, responsible for assisting students and families with financial aid applications, documentation, and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive financial information in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Financial Aid Representative:

  • Provide guidance to students and families regarding financial aid options, including grants, loans, and scholarships.
  • Review and process financial aid applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations.
  • Maintain accurate student records within financial aid systems.
  • Communicate with students via phone, email, and virtual meetings to resolve inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and assist with audits as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Aid Representative:

  • Prior experience in financial aid, student services, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
