Our client is a high-growth homebuilder focused on creating exceptional residential communities. They are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their team. They value performance, integrity, and strategic thinking, offering employees visibility with senior leadership and opportunities to influence investment and business strategy.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k plus 10% Bonus

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a high-performing Financial Analyst to play a strategic role in asset management and acquisitions. The Financial Analyst will build and maintain complex financial models, develop budgets and forecasts, and deliver detailed analyses that inform senior leadership decisions. This role provides exposure to high-impact projects and opportunities to accelerate career growth in a dynamic real estate environment.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

  • The Financial Analyst will build, maintain, and analyze financial models, proformas, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct actual-to-budget analyses to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities, including market and due diligence analysis.
  • The Financial Analyst will prepare internal investment committee materials and executive-ready presentations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Acquisitions, and senior leadership.
  • The Financial Analyst will support ad hoc reporting and other financial analysis as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:

  • Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, market comparables, contracts, and development-related materials.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:

  • Experience with high-volume homebuilders, construction, land development, capital budgeting, or acquisitions.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications (MBA, CPA) are a plus.
