Our client is a marketing company that is looking for an HR / Benefits Administrator to join their team and specialize in benefits administration.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:

The HR / Benefits Administrator will provide support overall to the HR team focusing primarily on benefits administration and HR administrative tasks. This is a 3–6 month opportunity with potential to extend.

Responsibilities of the HR / Benefits Administrator:

  • Manage the HR inbox, respond to employee inquiries, and route requests to appropriate HR team members.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and pre-boarding processes.
  • Manage leave programs, workers’ compensation cases, and accommodation requests.
  • Draft and distribute HR communications and reminders.
  • Administer benefits enrollment, changes, terminations, and COBRA management.
  • Support open enrollment processes and benefits renewals.

Required Experience/Skills for the HR / Benefits Administrator:

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or HR generalist support.
  • Proven experience with benefits administration, HRIS, payroll support, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with high attention to detail.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the HR / Benefits Administrator:

  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and COBRA management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
