Client Overview:

Our client, a leading organization within the professional athletics and events sector, is looking to add a Human Resources Manager to their growing team in Tampa, FL. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k – $95k

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Manager supports the organization’s Tampa operations. The ideal candidate will have experience within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Human Resource Manager:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees outside of the main office, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures while addressing employee inquiries and supporting additional facilities for the organization. 
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and orientation for full-time, part-time, seasonal, and remote employees, as well as overseeing terminations, exit interviews, documentation, property retrieval, and unemployment claims.
  • Support managers and organizational leadership by collaborating across HR functions to anticipate staffing and capability needs, coaching managers through employee relations matters and conflict resolution, and contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance and support HR operations by assisting with the annual compensation review process, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, contributing to employment contract management, and partnering with HR colleagues on key initiatives and projects.
  • Experience handling various administrative tasks, including 401(K)/pension plans. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Human Resource Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Human Resource Manager:

  • Background in the sports or entertainment industry HR is advantageous but not required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required.
