Client Overview:

Our client, a luxury retail company, is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Specialist – Luxury to deliver a high-touch, personalized remote purchasing experience for discerning clients.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65k – $72k + Bonus

Position Overview:

In this role, the Inside Sales Specialist – Luxury will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing customers, guiding them through a consultative buying journey via phone, chat, email, and digital engagement tools. You will provide tailored recommendations based on each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and goals while ensuring a seamless and elevated customer experience from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. This position plays an important role in supporting a sophisticated omnichannel sales approach by maintaining CRM data, providing client insights, and ensuring an exceptional experience at every stage of the relationship.

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Specialist – Luxury:

  • Achieve individual and team sales targets across multiple product and service categories.
  • Manage inbound client inquiries (phone, chat, email) with responsiveness and a highly personalized approach.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospective and existing clients, nurturing relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Build long-term client relationships through consultative engagement and tailored solutions.
  • Deliver a premium virtual shopping experience, guiding clients through product selection and purchase decisions.
  • Manage administrative sales activities, including quotes, order processing, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client information within the CRM system.
  • Provide market and client feedback to support continuous improvement of products, services, and sales processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive engagement and lead conversion.
  • Oversee the client journey from order placement through delivery and installation, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services or upgrades.

Required Experience/Skills for the Inside Sales Specialist – Luxury:

  • Proven success in phone-based or remote sales within a consultative or relationship-driven environment.
  • Experience in luxury retail, premium consumer goods, high-end home products, hospitality, or client service environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand client motivations and purchasing preferences.
  • A relationship-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering elevated customer experiences.
  • Comfort working with digital tools, CRM platforms, and online client engagement systems.
  • Strong written, verbal, and active listening skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in the Jersey City area.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Inside Sales Specialist – Luxury:

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
