Our client is an innovative company creating high-quality cosmetic and personal care products. They are looking to add a Junior Chemist to their team. The team values collaboration, creativity, and diversity.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $25/hr
Position Overview:
The Junior Chemist will be assisting in the development and testing of cosmetic and personal care products. They will support laboratory work, help with product formulations, and ensure quality standards are met. The Junior Chemist will work closely with Senior Chemists and other team members to improve and create new products.
Responsibilities of the Junior Chemist:
- Prepare solutions and samples for testing.
- Keep lab equipment clean and working properly.
- Record and review test results.
- Help improve product formulas.
- Write simple reports and follow lab procedures.
- Follow all safety and compliance rules.
- Work with team members on research projects.
Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Chemist:
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of lab equipment and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Chemist:
- Familiarity with cosmetic or personal care products.
- Experience in a lab or quality control setting.
- Understanding of cosmetic regulations.
- Ability to write simple technical reports.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
