Our client is a well-established organization that supports product research, development, and testing activities across multiple consumer-focused categories. They are seeking a Lab Technician to assist with laboratory preparation work and sample evaluation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19/hr – $21/hr

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician will support day-to-day laboratory operations by preparing product samples, documenting observations, and assisting with routine testing activities. This Lab Technician role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on lab work, has strong attention to detail, and can follow established procedures while working in a fast-moving team environment. 

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

  • Prepare laboratory samples according to established instructions and project specifications.
  • Introduce materials into prepared test systems and observe resulting product characteristics.
  • Record observations and testing outcomes in accordance with internal documentation standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of laboratory materials needed for ongoing testing activities.
  • Maintain accurate manual and electronic records of laboratory work performed.
  • Provide support to additional laboratory functions when increased workflow or project timelines require.
  • Communicate findings clearly with team members to support project progress.
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and maintain an organized work environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Prior hands-on laboratory or technical experience.
  • Interest in supporting product development or testing environments.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline is required.
