Our client is a higher education establishment in NYC. This higher education establishment is looking for Mock Trial Jurors to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17/hr

Position Overview:

The Mock Trial Jurors will come in and participate in a mock trial as a Mock Trial Juror that is part of the students’ exam schedule. These law students will be using what they learned over the course of the semester to act out a trial, and the Mock Trial Jurors will be responsible for listening to their case, evidence, and what they present, and deciding their verdict. 

Responsibilities of the Mock Trial Jurors:

• Mock Trial Jurors will listen to a mock trial as part of the students’ exam schedule.
• Deliberate with other Mock Jurors to come to an agreement on whether you think the mock defendant is guilty or not guilty.
• State the mock verdict to the “Judge” (professor).

Required Experience/Skills for the Mock Trial Jurors:

• Mock Trial Jurors MUST be reliable.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Be active listeners.
• Display proper etiquette for working with a university/in a mock court environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Mock Trial Jurors:

• Looking for actors and people interested in law/court.
• People who are looking for short-term work.

• None required.
