Our client is a large, well-established organization within the automotive and mobility services industry, operating on a national scale. They are seeking a Payroll Administrator who can work independently while also supporting and collaborating with a growing team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21/hr – $25/hr, Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for gathering and verifying employee data and hours worked, calculating pay, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. This role requires strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail to maintain precise payroll records. Candidates should have 1 – 2+ years of experience handling full-cycle payroll.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:
- Collect and review timesheets and payroll-related data.
- Input and maintain information within payroll systems and administrative software.
- Compute wages, benefits, tax withholdings, commissions, and other payroll components.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks and manage direct deposits.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of payroll documentation and transactions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Administrator:
- 1 – 2+ years of experience in a Payroll Administrator role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with payroll functions, including benefits, deductions, and overtime adjustments.
- Experience with full-cycle payroll processing and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Payroll Administrator:
- 2 – 4 years of payroll experience.
- Familiarity with ADP is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
