A well-known consumer-focused organization is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Administrative Coordinator to support its Supply Chain and Procurement team. This role is heavily focused on supply chain operations, vendor coordination, and data management, making it ideal for someone with prior experience or exposure to procurement and supply chain functions.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $30/hr
Position Overview:
The Procurement Administrative Coordinator will provide critical administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain and Procurement team, specifically within vendor and contract manufacturing workflows. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with data, and prior exposure to supply chain or procurement processes. The ideal candidate is early in their career but has hands-on experience supporting supply chain operations and is eager to grow in this space.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Administrative Coordinator:
- Support daily administrative functions across procurement and supply chain operations.
- Coordinate logistics and take detailed notes for supplier and vendor meetings.
- Maintain and update supplier data, pricing, and procurement documentation.
- Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Support invoice review processes and flag discrepancies.
- Compile and analyze data for reporting, including pricing and cost tracking.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and documentation.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external vendors.
- Track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of internal reports and presentations.
- Manage recurring deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Experience/Skills for the Procurement Administrative Coordinator:
- 2–3+ years of administrative or coordinator experience with direct exposure to supply chain or procurement required.
- Experience supporting purchase orders, invoicing, vendor coordination, or supply chain operations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (data tracking and analysis required).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Procurement Administrative Coordinator:
- Experience with SAP or similar procurement/supply chain systems.
- Background in operations, logistics, or contract manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams within supply chain.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday–Friday.
- Standard business hours (approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite.
