Client Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing biotechnology company focused on the sustainable development and production of high-quality consumer products. They are now looking for an R&D Lab Technician.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $22/hr

Position Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in research and development. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Scientists to support experiments and operate equipment that directly contributes to innovative manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities of the R&D Lab Technician:

  • Perform analysis of products using a range of techniques including chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry methods.
  • Process analytical data, interpret results, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality initiatives.

Required Experience/Skills for the R&D Lab Technician:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • Strong understanding of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the R&D Lab Technician:

  • 0–1 years of experience in analytical chemistry, preferably within the cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods industry.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
