Client Overview:

Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $20/hr

Position Overview:

As the first point of contact, the Receptionist will create a welcoming, professional environment for clients, visitors, and vendors. This role involves managing the front desk, communicating thoughtfully, and providing attentive support to attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks with ease. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • The Receptionist will warmly greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries.
  • Manage the front desk area to ensure it remains organized and presentable.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate conference room bookings.
  • The Receptionist will handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • The Receptionist will support attorneys and staff with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service-related experience.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Ability to meet the employer’s attendance policy.
  • Proficiency in the Windows environment and PC skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal reception/front desk experience.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and office management software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
