Client Overview:

Atrium is seeking, on behalf of our client, a Senior Events Producer to join their team based in New York.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $130k (DOE)

Position Overview:

The Senior Events Producer will lead the planning and execution of high-profile events from concept through completion. This role requires strong project management skills, client relationship building, and the ability to oversee budgets and logistics for multiple simultaneous events. The position collaborates closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences that align with brand objectives. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Events Producer:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for multiple concurrent events, managing schedules, budgets, and logistics from initial concept through execution.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, building strong, trust-based relationships throughout the planning and delivery process.
  • Identify, negotiate, and oversee all vendor partnerships, including venues, catering, audiovisual, floral, and production teams.
  • Create and manage event budgets ranging from $50K to $1M+, maintaining financial discipline while delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Direct pre-event site visits, develop detailed run-of-show documents, and oversee full on-site production and execution.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior coordinators, delegating responsibilities and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Partner with leadership on new business development, contributing to proposals, pitches, and strategic planning.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Events Producer:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading event management or marketing events within luxury hospitality or premium experiential settings.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex events involving multiple stakeholders and a wide range of budget levels.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • Polished, confident communicator with strong client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Composed and solutions-oriented, able to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event needs.
  • Open to frequent travel as required -10%. 

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Events Producer:

  • Experience supporting sporting brands, immersive brand activations, fashion events, or luxury lifestyle clients.
  • Strong visual sensibility with a refined understanding of design, décor, and interior aesthetics.
  • Well-established vendor relationships within the New York market, including venues, F&B, AV, and production partners.
  • Proficient in event management, production, and design software and platforms.
  • Experience contributing to proposal development and participating in new business pitches.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in event production is considered in lieu of formal education.
