Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of advanced technology components serving telecommunications, aerospace, and test and measurement markets worldwide. They are looking to add a Supply Chain Specialist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview:

This role will support daily planning activities to help maintain smooth production flow, monitor inventory levels, identify potential supply risks, and partner with internal teams to help ensure materials are available to meet customer demand on time. The Supply Chain Specialist will help coordinate materials, monitor shortages, support inventory planning, and communicate across departments to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Support planning of parts and materials through production processes to help meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels across finished goods, work-in-progress, and component materials.
  • Review and respond to system-generated planning signals based on forecasts, schedules, and demand needs.
  • Track material shortages and assist with preparing shortage reports for internal teams.
  • Escalate supply issues or overdue materials that could impact delivery performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, and other internal teams to support timely replenishment and workflow coordination.
  • Help manage material flow across multiple manufacturing or warehouse locations.
  • Assist with prioritizing production needs and resolving inventory or kit-related discrepancies.
  • Coordinate required materials, documents, and supporting information needed for manufacturing runs.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to planning, inventory, and delivery performance.
  • Perform additional related responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Comfort working with numbers, data, and planning-related systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
  • 1 – 2 years of related internship, co-op, or professional experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, production planning, inventory control, procurement, or supply chain operations is helpful.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Materials Management, or a related field is required.
