Our client is an agency leader in PR, content, and digital experiences and are seeking an Account Director to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$115,000 – $125,000
Position Overview:
The Account Director will play a key role on the team and partner closely with the Managing Partner to oversee and expand their portfolio within the alcohol & spirits category. The Account Director will have strong account management experience and able to identify opportunities for integrated marketing growth plans for their client roster in this space – spanning digital content strategy, influencer & talent marketing, partnerships, entertainment, PR, and digital activations. This role will require critical thinking, high level stakeholder communication, client troubleshooting, and strong account management experience to oversee the overall business health for their portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities of the Account Director:
- Oversight of a portfolio of accounts in partnership with senior leadership team
- Create and maintain strong client relationships for brand portfolios and partner agencies
- Work closely with internal leads across cross-functional teams to bring best-in-class thinking to every client project
- Develop and lead innovative thinking for client portfolio with high-quality program management & execution
- Oversight and management of account financials – budgets, resource allocation, purchase orders in collaboration with Business Manager
- Ongoing client relationship building, ideation, pitching, and organic business growth within the portfolio category
- Team management with direct report responsibility & career development
Qualifications for the Account Director:
- 7+ years exp in relevant agency or alcohol/spirits industry with examples of growth success
- Proven track record in account management leadership, business growth and references demonstrating an exemplary account lead who can maintain positive client relationships, deliver strategic council, and successfully troubleshoots client and internal issues
- Experience with Integrated marketing campaigns -digital & social content, talent & influencer marketing, partnerships & knowledgeable in IAT setting
- Strong business acumen, communication, presentation skills to senior stakeholders
- Ability to lead & develop teams with a balance of big picture thinking and tactical acumen
- Experience in financial and operational performance of multiple revenue generating accounts
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality work, delivery, and budget management
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required
