Position Overview:

Atrium is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Account Director (AD) to lead a strategic workforce program for a high-profile client across the U.S. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a first-of-its-kind, modern MSP program that redefines how organizations engage and manage freelance and temporary talent.

As an Account Director, you will oversee complex client relationships within Atrium’s Contingent Workforce division, ensuring seamless delivery of Managed Service Program (MSP), Employer of Record (EOR), and Agency of Record (AOR) services. You’ll lead an internal team, drive program adoption, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements and employment regulations – all within a program designed to meet the evolving needs of the creative industry.

Responsibilities of the Account Director:

On any given day, as an Account Director, you will:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for client stakeholders, managing operational and strategic inquiries.
  • Lead internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and service delivery.
  • Oversee requisition workflows, onboarding, classification, and compliance.
  • Resolve escalations related to personnel, billing, and program performance.
  • Deliver client reporting and insights, including headcount, attrition, and program health.
  • Educate users on program processes and tools through training and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to drive adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on employment laws and worker classifications impacting contingent labor.
  • Build candidate pipelines aligned with client needs and hiring forecasts.
  • Other Projects or tasks as directed by your manager.

Required Experience/Skills for the Account Director:

  • 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce management, staffing, or HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, worker classification, and payroll practices.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, empathetic, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism.
  • Passion for educating others and driving program success.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. 

Education Requirements: 

  • No bachelor’s degree required – experience and skills are valued over formal education.
