Position Overview:
The Account Manager is responsible for end-to-end consultation and sales of Atrium staffing services throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area. This role will be provided with a target list of new sales prospects, regularly interview industry professionals, and match professionals to open roles while servicing existing clientele. The Account Manager is expected to leverage an existing candidate and contact base, network, and prospect for new opportunities while providing a white-glove service. The ideal Account Manager will be competitive, goal-motivated, and self-disciplined, with the ability to overcome objections and demonstrate resiliency in the face of unexpected challenges.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
- Build a portfolio of leads through cold calling, networking, and consultative meetings with HR leaders, C-level executives, and procurement teams.
- Develop, implement, and manage sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed client requirements.
- Convert leads into opportunities and bring in new clients while managing existing accounts.
- Speak with clients to take detailed and thorough job orders.
- Document and track sales leads and opportunities through internal client management systems.
- Develop strong client relationships through onsite visits, meetings, and approved engagement activities.
- Manage high-volume full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, behavioral interviews, and reference checks.
- Actively source talent through job postings, job boards, networking events, social media, and referrals.
- Negotiate salary rates with both clients and candidates.
- Stay up to date on staffing industry trends and local market developments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of staffing solutions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Account Manager:
- 1–5+ years of professional sales experience in shorter-term sales cycles (2–6 weeks).
- Proven history of achieving sales quota and KPI metrics.
- Experience developing sales strategies, service offerings, and pricing proposals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environments.
- Ability to work across multiple levels within an organization and with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel as needed with reliable transportation.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong customer service orientation.
- Comfortable with decision-making in a dynamic environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant corporate work experience in Professional Services, Finance, Administration, or related fields.
