Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23/hr – $28/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional Excel skills and a background in contracts or purchasing. The Accounting Analyst will provide financial analysis, reporting, and support to ensure effective financial management and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst:

• Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial operations.
• Maintain and improve financial models using advanced Excel functions.
• Review and manage contracts and purchasing activities.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Analyst:

• Proven experience as an Accounting Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Analyst:

• Experience in contracts or purchasing.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
