Our client is a growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, manage financial reporting, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

$100k – $125k

Position Overview:


The Accounting Manager will oversee full-cycle accounting activities, including general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has prior public accounting experience, strong leadership skills, and can manage a small accounting team while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations and staff.
  • Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and oversee journal entries.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with prior public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience managing accounting staff and delegating responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:

  • Experience in manufacturing accounting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
