Client Overview:
Our client is a well-known company that is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, located in Lyndhurst, NJ. They are dedicated to providing exceptional service and products to their customers. They are committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and accountability.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $24/hr Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing the organization’s incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the processing of invoices and receipts. This role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow, resolving billing issues, and providing support to customers and internal departments.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:
- Preparing, issuing, and sending accurate customer invoices promptly.
- Monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with clients as needed.
- Applying payments to customer accounts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintaining customer files and updating records with current billing information.
- Communicating with customers via phone and email regarding account status and payment issues.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:
- 2 – 3+ years of experience.
- Well organized and good at multitasking.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
