Our client, a fast-growing, dynamic finance company seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28 – $32/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will handle the processing and collection of outstanding accounts receivable from existing client base. The Accounts Receivable Specialist role will directly interact with customers to achieve highest possible collection rates, reduce days outstanding, and mitigate debt exposure.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Examine and resolve payment issues while communicating internally within the company and externally with customers
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable department to reconcile account discrepancies
  • Develop and implement procedures that optimize speed and quality of outstanding receivable collections

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Prior experience handling accounts receivables
  • Strong negotiation and customer service exposure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting software

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is desirable
