Our client is a team-oriented real estate investment firm, and they are seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join their group. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80k – $85k plus 10% Bonus

Position Overview:

The Acquisitions Analyst will play an active role in analyzing real estate investment opportunities and operating an existing portfolio of office and retail investments.  Working closely with members of the asset Management and Accounting teams, the Acquisitions Analyst will be responsible for steering real estate investment opportunities through all aspects of the investment process.

Responsibilities of the Acquisitions Analyst:

  • Modeling & analyzing prospective real estate acquisitions
  • Working with Argus software and advanced Excel
  • Participating in all aspects of the due diligence process for acquisitions
  • Analyzing portfolio property performance
  • Preparing quarterly investor reports and investor communications
  • Researching market trends for portfolio markets and new markets for acquisitions
  • Working with third parties and providing due diligence materials

Qualifications for the Acquisitions Analyst:

  • 1 – 3 years of commercial real estate or similar related financial or analytical experience
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Competency in Argus Enterprise
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, result-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines and an ability to multitask and work independently
  • Must be open to occasional travel for property and market due diligence

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
