Our client, a well-known nonprofit organization in New York City, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team while working in a fast paced, dynamic environment! Schedule is hybrid!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $30/hr, $58,000 – $65,000

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will work directly with the Senior Administrator & team to assist with organizing and executing major events and programs. Other responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include: Schedule meetings and manage travel requests, run reception area when necessary, and oversee organization of the office. Must have at least one year of office experience.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Assist with event planning for major events
  • Oversee department inventory and organization
  • Answer & direct phone calls and urgently respond to emails
  • Manage schedules and travel arrangements
  • Organize department meetings and prepare conference rooms

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Hardworking, personable team player
  • Tech Savvy
  • One- three years of administrative experience

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
