Our customer is a Digital Services Provider that offers a great career, a collaborative team, and a great culture. They are seeking an Analyst (Payroll & Commissions) to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k – $100k plus Bonus
Position Overview:
The Analyst (Payroll & Commissions) will accurately calculate and track commission payments for sales teams, prepare various payroll reconciliation reports, and partner with departments in the development and/or redesign of commission plans and support the annual planning. This role requires advanced levels of Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities of the Analyst (Payroll & Commissions):
- Assist with the calculation and tracking of commission payments for Sales teams.
- Maintain and update the general ledger interface account mapping and reconcile the general ledger.
- Prepare various payroll reconciliation reports.
- Create and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payment files.
- Generate and distribute commission statements and management reports.
- Prepare, review, and process US domestic biweekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Prepare and process employee changes, bonuses, commissions, tax changes, banking information, department allocation, insurance deductions, allowances, garnishments, etc.
- Partner and collaborate with departments, compensation planning, corrections, reporting, etc.
- Assist in internal and external audits and ensure all pertinent information has been entered into the payroll system for accurate annual tax reporting.
Required Experience/Skills of the Analyst (Payroll & Commissions):
- 1+ year payroll or sales commissions experience with a medium-sized company.
- Superior Excel skills with the ability to create and manipulate complex formulas and perform data analysis of large sets of data.
- ADP and Workday ERP experience.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
