Our client is an industry leader in specialty ingredients. They are seeking an Analytical Chemist who is experienced with various analytical instrumentation including Ion Chromatography ICP-MS, HPLC, and GC.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28 – $33/hr

Position Overview:

The Analytical Chemist should be Skilled in interpreting data, troubleshooting analytical issues, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The Analytical Chemist role will provide the Analytical Chemist with an opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, working with Chemists, R&D Scientists, and Engineers on important projects.

Responsibilities of the Analytical Chemist:

  • Independently conduct routine and non-routine testing using HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, etc. in an analytical lab
  • Ensure compliance with GLP requirements by meticulously documenting all methods and procedures
  • Present clear and concise written reports containing results and conclusions after interpreting data
  • Maintain laboratory instrumentation and manage inventory of supplies
  • Foster continuous improvement of the Analytical Lab through active participation in team-driven environments
  • Meet internal and external customer requirements by completing work in a timely manner
  • Adhere strictly to safety policies, practices, and procedures

Qualifications for the Analytical Chemist:

  • Must have experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience working in an analytical role

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar science is required
