Our client, a leader within the CPG industry is looking for an Assistant Content Manager to join their team on a contract basis for the next year.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35hr

Position Overview:

The Assistant Content Manager will be a 12-month assignment with anticipation of extension. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the team by ensuring the optimization of content across various retailers. The Assistant Content Manager’s primary responsibilities will be to maintain and enhance product content to maximize visibility, engagement, and sales. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, prioritization abilities, and effective communication.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Content Manager:

  • Collaborate with the team to optimize product content across different online platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance
  • Leverage expertise in Syndigo, Salsify, and Accenture to efficiently manage product content, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices
  • Identify and address content-related challenges, including data discrepancies, missing information, or technical issues
  • Develop creative solutions to enhance content quality and effectiveness, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Qualifications of the Assistant Content Manager:

  • Minimum of 2 years in digital content
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Proficiency in using Syndigo, Salsify, or similar platforms for content management
  • Comfortable in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, v-lookups, dashboards, etc.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
