Our client is a well-established multi-brand apparel company seeking a creative designer to support its men’s golf category. The company manages multiple lifestyle and performance brands and focuses on delivering high-quality, trend-forward collections. They are now looking for an Associate Designer.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60k – $75k

Position Overview:

The Associate Designer will assist in the full creative process, from concept development through final product execution. Reporting to the Design Director, this role contributes to shaping brand identity, developing original designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cohesive collections to life. This position is ideal for a designer with 3+ years of experience who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to support the timely execution of seasonal collections.

Responsibilities of the Associate Designer:

  • Support product strategy and provide creative input for fabric and print development.
  • Collaborate with merchandising to align seasonal timelines, SKU planning, and assortment flow.
  • Present new trends and design concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and approve samples, provide fit comments, and ensure garments are production-ready.
  • Help mentor junior designers and interns and foster a collaborative, creative team environment.

Required Experience/Skills of the Associate Designer:

  • 3+ years of design experience.
  • Menswear experience required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills of the Associate Designer:

  • Experience with 3D design tools, AI tools, and/or Nedgraphics.
  • Background in active/performance wear, especially golf.
  • Experience with heritage brands.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
