Position Overview:
The Associate Project Manager will assist Atrium’s VP of Project Management (VPPM) in driving Contingent Workforce Solutions and Operations initiatives, problem solving and implementing solutions that are aligned with the goals and objectives of the business. The Associate Project Manager is key to keeping Atrium in a state of compliance and efficiency, while creating scalable solutions to set the business up for future growth.
Responsibilities of the Associate Project Manager:
- Partner with WORKS and Operations teams to identify problems and write improved procedures or design solutions Improve processes by studying current practices and constructing workflow charts and diagrams
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, oversee the completion of project tasks and monitor adherence to project management process standards
- Follow up on open items, track issues and perform tasks including resource allocation, task planning, and progress reporting to the project team and senior leaders
- Develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, outlining the duties of each team member, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project
- Collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to senior leaders before starting the project
- Monitor each project to ensure that the project remains on track, meets deadlines, and develops according to plan
- Gather and document all project results and report them to the appropriate parties, including the success of the project and any setbacks that were encountered or room for improvement
- Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
Qualifications for the Associate Project Manager:
- 1 – 3 years Staffing and/or Contingent Workforce industry knowledge
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback
- Microsoft Suite experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
