Client Overview:

Our client is a leading global fashion house with a diverse portfolio of brands, offering opportunities to work in a creative, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. They are currently looking to expand their team by bringing on an Associate Women’s Swim Designer.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $28/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Women’s Swim Designer for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The role is ideal for a designer with 3 – 5 years of experience in women’s swimwear, lingerie, or performance apparel. 

Responsibilities of the Associate Women’s Swim Designer:

  • Assist in the design and development of seasonal swimwear collections across multiple brands.
  • Create accurate technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Assist with fabric sourcing, color approvals, and sample tracking.
  • Organize and maintain design boards, samples, and archives.
  • Support the Head Designer with daily tasks and creative input.
  • Attend fittings and assist with tech pack updates as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Associate Women’s Swim Designer:

  • 3 – 5 years of design experience (associate level).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Associate Women’s Swim Designer:

  • Prior experience in swimwear, lingerie, or performance apparel.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
