Our client is a business advisory firm and they are seeking an Audit Manager to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$120k – $160k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Audit Manager will act as an advisor and provide exclusive consulting and compliance services. They will lead multiple audits, reviews, compilations, and client engagements.

Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:

  • Lead client engagements
  • Ensure services are delivered promptly
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Serve as the primary client contact
  • Recognize and resolve problems
  • Recommend business and process improvement
  • Utilize thorough knowledge and exposure to issues which include but are not limited to mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives, and exit strategies
  • Assist in the development and execution of the department’s various training programs
  • Set and monitor budgets
  • Staff scheduling
  • Prepare client billings and collections
  • Participate in recruitment events, employee performance management, training support, and business development opportunities

Qualifications for the Audit Manager:

  • 5+ years of progressive
  • CPA firm experience Lead team members
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train, orient, and mentor staff
  • Ability to review and evaluate the work of others
  • Detail-oriented

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, MS or MBA is preferred
  • CPA
