Client Overview:
We are partnering with a large, mission-driven national organization that is expanding its Marketing and Creative team as part of a multi-year growth roadmap. Currently, they are looking to add a Bilingual Art Director to their team. The team is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on delivering impactful creative campaigns that reach diverse audiences across the country.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Up to $65/hr (Depending on experience)
Position Overview:
The Bilingual Art Director will lead the concepting, design, and execution of creative campaigns across digital and print channels, with a strong emphasis on Spanish-language creative and culturally relevant storytelling. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with writers, designers, and marketing partners to bring 360° campaigns to life. This is a 2-year contract with the potential for extension or permanent hire.
Responsibilities of the Bilingual Art Director:
- Lead creative direction and execution for integrated campaigns across social, digital, print, and experiential.
- Ensure Spanish-language creative assets are accurate, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand standards.
- Partner with marketing managers, copywriters, and designers to deliver compelling creative that drives engagement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality creative standards.
- Present creative concepts and rationale to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor junior designers and help set best practices for creative development.
Required Experience/Skills for the Bilingual Art Director:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.
- 6+ years of professional design/creative experience, with at least 2+ years in an Art Director role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital, social, and integrated campaign work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects) is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into compelling creative concepts.
- Strong collaboration and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bilingual Art Director:
- Experience within mission-driven, nonprofit, or membership-based organizations.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, video, or experiential design.
- Understanding of audience segmentation and designing for multicultural audiences.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is required.
