Position Overview:

Atrium is seeking an individual who will make a great Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and impeccable oral communication skills. This individual will work under the direction of the Manager of Revenue Accounting and will be primarily responsible for preparing & delivering accurate invoicing & reporting to our clients.

Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

  • Responsible for weekly pre-processing auditing to ensure accuracy in billing totals and markups.
  • Generate and issue invoices on a weekly/monthly basis for the client base.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly client & portfolio reporting.
  • Process weekly adjustment transactions in coordination with client account teams.
  • Responsible for submission and management of billing for specific high-volume accounts.
  • Ensure accurate creation and setup of net-new client relationships.
  • Responding efficiently and professionally to client inquiries.
  • Other projects and tasks as directed by your manager.

Required Experience/Skills for the Billing Specialist:

  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting/finance and customer service experience.
  • Experience in billing, receivables, and collections is preferred.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and computer systems in general.
  • Key Attributes:
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Strong communication skills, particularly verbal.
    • Information & task monitoring, follow-through.
    • Responsiveness.
    • Strong customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred.
