Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established, family-owned building materials distributor with multiple locations in Southeast Georgia. The organization is grounded in core values such as integrity, problem-solving, and building strong connections with both team members and customers. They offer a supportive and growth-oriented work environment. We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Branch Manager to lead all aspects of operations at our client’s Waycross, GA, location.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k – $85k+ Annually (Depending on experience)

Position Overview:

This Branch Manager position is ideal for a sales-minded operations leader with experience in the construction supply or building materials industry. The role oversees daily branch functions, sales performance, warehouse, and counter staff, and is responsible for driving efficiency, accountability, and culture.

Responsibilities of the Branch Manager:

• Lead branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, and logistics.
• Manage P&L and branch-level financial performance.
• Supervise a team of 12 – 4, including counter sales, warehouse staff, and office management.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-first service.
• Train initially out of a nearby branch during the first month.
• Implement operational improvements and efficiency strategies.

Required Experience/Skills for the Branch Manager:

• 10 – 12 years of branch, operations, or general management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional operations.
• P&L oversight experience required.
• Strong customer service and internal communication skills.
• Background in distribution, construction supply, or a similar industry.
• Experience with sales counter and warehouse processes.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Branch Manager:

• Technical understanding of plumbing, electrical, or general contracting.
• Experience hiring, training, and building high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or similar systems.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
