Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55k – $60k plus unlimited commission

Position Overview:

The Business Development Associate plays a key role in driving client growth and expanding relationships within the Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources sectors. This individual will generate new business opportunities, build and maintain client partnerships, and collaborate closely with internal recruiting teams to deliver exceptional staffing solutions.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Associate:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with prospective and existing clients.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through networking and outreach.
  • Conduct consultative meetings with hiring managers and HR teams to understand business needs.
  • Present customized staffing solutions aligned with client goals.
  • Develop pricing proposals and negotiate contracts to achieve profitable margins.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales targets and activity metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Partner with recruiters and leadership to ensure top-tier client delivery.
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Required Experience/Skills for the Business Development Associate:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, proactive, and comfortable with both independent and team-based work.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Business Development Associate:

  • Previous experience in the staffing, recruitment, or professional services industry.
  • Knowledge of the Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
