Our client is a unique tech company that is specializing in the health and wellness space. Their team is now looking for a Business Development Manager.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70k – $140k plus bonus and commission.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager must be a high-energy, entrepreneurial individual to join fast-growing luxury wellness brand. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, highly organized, and experienced in selling premium products or services in design-driven industries.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Prospect and close large sales opportunities.
- Identify and build relationships with architects, designers, personal trainers, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct outreach, attend industry events, and manage client relationships end-to-end.
- Present custom solutions, manage the sales process through delivery.
- Serve as a brand ambassador and trusted advisor to clients.
- Use CRM (Salesforce) to manage pipeline, track interactions, and ensure follow-up.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with store managers, customer service, and logistics teams.
Required Experience/Skills for the Business Development Manager:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B or high-end B2C field sales.
- Experience in luxury, design, wellness, or fitness industries.
- Self-starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong networking ability; comfortable with cold outreach and in-person visits.
- Based in the LA area with willingness to travel regularly (including overnight).
- Active driver’s license and vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Business Development Manager:
- Background in luxury goods, home design, or wellness spaces.
- Established network of contacts in architecture, interior design, or personal training.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
